Large portions, fast service. Flavours were just ok. Fried rice was a bit hard but better as left overs and portion size was unbeatable.

For how busy this place usually is I really expected the food to be better. Everything was bland. I added not only salt but a lot of chili powder to my miso ramen and I STILL thought it lacked flavor. The gyoza was cooked well, but the filing was again just bland and devoid of any flavor besides plain unseasoned pork. The kimchi was somehow dry? And again, just bland. Maybe my expectations were too high coming from Japan. I may give this place another try and get a different item but the miso ramen, gyoza and kimchi all disappointed me on this visit. I left behind a full bowl of ramen, a plate of kimchi and half of the fried rice (which was decent.) behind because I just didn’t want to eat it. Two stars for now because the staff was nice, attentive and the food came out fast.

Ramen Ya Pearl City provides fast service and enormous portions! It isn't the the biggest restaurant but seating is usually quick with no wait. There is an open kitchen so you are able to see food being prepared, which is expedient. Short wait for some portions almost enough to feed two people. Prices are in arguably cheap and the overall experience was satisfying.

Good ramen. Best pork fried rice around. Pretty busy most of the time but worth the wait.

Be sure to check the menu well and ask about what you're ordering. Prices are decent, and some options give a good amount of food. The tofu ramen tasted spoiled, but a friends katsu curry was good.

Everything was good - service, food, price. Shio ramen - excellent broth, lots of meat.. Beef curry rice plentiful, tasty and hot.. Large Gyoza .. Yum!

Although food is mediocre and service is so so, the large portion at affordable price will bring me back here again someday. I got free gyoza for ordering ramen but I don't know if they usually do that.

Service can be spotty, depending on who's working. Workers eat lunch in the same dining room while watching Korean drama. I understand if there's no staff lounge, it's a pretty small space they have. It just doesn't look professional at all. In the past I've had my plate practically thrown in front of me. It's been awhile since i came to this place because of that reason. Service this time was excellent. Portions are still great. Wonton ramen was mediocre. Bland and tasteless. Curry Katsu was fine. Meat to rice portions are off. Too much rice compare to the meat given. They still have free gyoza from 2-5p.

Ramen Ya in Pearl City was a great dinner experience for a quick meal. First off there is plenty of parking in the plaza for vehicles. I recommend that you get there before 6pm because they get packed in the evenings and the restaurant is small. The ramen is very easy to pick out even for those who have never ate at a ramen house. Basicly just pictures and you can point at what you want. The food came out quickly withing 5 minutes and it was delicious and very filling. they gave us lots of food and for 2 people it was only 17 dollars. I will come again.

service was on point I ordered the side tofu and shrimp tempura for my dinner i had a bowl of wonton ramen with the ton ton ramenbase for a kick of spice. for just$2 more a friend of mine joined me as well she also ordered a bowl of gomoku ramen. everything was great tasting, presentation temperature, taste. factor all of that in including overhead and all the prices are just right. excellent food, service, evening tonight thank you ramen ya. btw we got in at around 6:45pm full house prior to us being done we weren't rushed or hurried to finished so they can turn a table I was throughly impressed.

Tan tan was great, but the fried rice was mushy this time. The seafood crispy noodles hardly had any seafood, there was a great amount of cabbage with a small amount of overcooked fish, maybe five shrimp, one or two squid.

Went in around 2pm and didn't realize there were a happy hour special of free 4pc gyoza with purchase. Got the combo wit chicken katsu curry, mini ramen and gyoza (8pc) instead of 4 pc. Was good and filling. Great value if you're hungy.

The food was good came an hour before they closed they didn't seem happy about that. The got 2 stars cause the food was good. 30 Mins before closing they allowed people to do take out orders but not dine in

Today the server was rude. Never filled our water. Didnt ask if we were ready to order. Instead he says what's your order? We needed a few more minutes geez. He didn't fill our water. We tried to get his attention but he seemed to ignore us. Aside from today's experience I liked this place.

We stopped to decide where to have dinner, Ramen Ya in Pearl City was a place we haven't been to in a long time. Place was clean service was quick, and the serving size was hefty in a happy wayand price is reasonable. Coming again soon!

Flavorful food and a lot of it. I ordered the Kimchi Ramenya and took home most of it. I will enjoy it again tomorrow. Other tablemates got the chicken & vegetables & fried noodles; chicken Katsu, everything was excellent! The location is clean, the service courteous and kind. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend. Mahalo staff for your good service.

Portions are large, especially if you order one of the dishes that aren't ramen. The ramen is ok. It's good for Hawaii but not outstanding. Service could be a bit better.

Only got food from there once and it was nothing special. That's not a negative just the facts. Would I go back, of course and try other dishes.

The food didn't seem that fresh. Unfortunately, not close at all to the quality we came to enjoy in Japan.
